Changed or Missed Appointments

To ensure the smooth running of the practice for everyone to benefit we must make sure our appointment system is efficiently run.

In this practice we provide dental care in eight specific areas. This requires careful scheduling to give you, our patients the best treatment possible in the minimum amount of your time. To ensure this we spend at least one hour preparing for each hour that you are seated in the surgery.

Thus we are pleased to say, as part of our service to you in the scheduling of appointments, we make no charge for appointments changed as long as we receive adequate notice for us to reappoint the openings and prepare for the other patients who receive care at that time. The required notice is outlined below.

Appointments with the hygienist: up to one hour - two full working days notice, over one hour - three full days notice.

Appointments with Dr Crowe: we are pleased to say that we make no charge for changing a new patient appointment when you give more than a 24 hours notice.

These arrangements are made for the benefit of all the patients in the practice so that they can receive optimum care. If there is a real emergency you can always talk to Dr Crowe who will be happy to discuss the fees which are relevant to you.
